Chiropractic BioPhysics® protocol resolves chronic neck pain and headaches from whiplash injuries.

After not receiving relief from previous chiropractic spinal manipulation therapy, a 31-year old patient with cervical hypolordosis was treated with Chiropractic BioPhysics® protocol. In 5 months, she reported a significant reduction in pain and headaches.

About the Patient
The 31-year-old female patient was seeking relief from chronic neck pain and headaches that originated from a whiplash injury. On spinal x-rays, the patient was found to have a cervical hypolordosis, indicating an excessive flattening of the spine in the neck area, rather than a healthy, normal curve.

Treatment
The patient was placed on a Chiropractic BioPhysics®-based protocol that included extension exercises, manual adjustments, and cervical extension traction. The treatment plan that was implemented was designed to increase the curve in the neck region (cervical lordosis).

Outcome
After approximately five months and 30 treatments, the patient reported that neck pain and headaches had significantly decreased. X-rays revealed that the results of the treatment were positive. Cervical lordosis, which reflects the natural curve of the spine in the neck, had noticeably increased. This suggests that Chiropractic BioPhysics® may be an effective form of care for whiplash, cervical hypolordosis (lack of a natural curve), and chronic neck pain and headaches.
